Live fiercely

Hi there, I'm almost one week late, but here it comes, my last post for Color Me Scrappy. CMS is a fresh challenge blog which gave me my first DT opportunity some months ago. I will say about this adventure that I'm so grateful about where it took me as a crafter. I think it's safe to say that in the past few months my style changed a lot, also thanks to the assignments. Thanks Lisa and Pam for letting me play along.

For the last challenge there's a color palette with an assignment that read literally "use LOTS of layers on your page". Well, I gotta say that I can't layer to save my life but I did my best :) I had mist, paint drops, writing, stitches, washi tape, paper, overlay and wood veneers all over. This time I got inspired by the photo. And it's a letter to my 2009 self. You have until March 7 to submit your take.

This makes layout #10 in my "50 layouts" challenge... getting there... and thanks so much for looking.

Und hier kommt Layout Nr. 10, meine letzte Design-Team Arbeit für Color Me Scrappy. Eine Layering-Aufgabe, für mich eine echte Herausforderung mal wieder. Trotzdem merke ich, wieviel ich an den Aufgaben wachsen durfte, wenn ich so auf diese Zeit zurückblicke. Bin sehr dankbar dafür und freue mich, wieder Freestyle zu scrappen.

Ihr dürft mit dieser Farbpalette spielen und dazu noch layern, was das Zeug hält. Also ran an die Scraptische! Bis zum 7. März könnt Ihr den Beitrag bei CMS einreichen.

Ich hab mich vom Foto entführen lassen und wild mit verschiedenen Texturen gespielt: Sprühfarbe, Tropfen, Handschrift, Papier, Overlay, Wood Veneer, Nähte... Wild wie das Layout und das Lebensgefühl.
